1. Our policy
PINGR provides a platform for finding nearby activities. PINGR is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation in every part of the service.
Zero tolerance: PINGR does not permit, and will not tolerate, any content or activity that sexually exploits or abuses children. Accounts that violate this policy are permanently removed.
These standards apply to all users, to all content uploaded, shared, streamed or messaged through PINGR, and to all developers, partners and third parties who integrate with PINGR’s services.
2. Prohibited content & conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on PINGR:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any visual depiction, including photographs, videos, computer-generated or AI-generated imagery, drawings, or animations, of a person under 18 (or who appears to be under 18) engaged in sexually explicit conduct, or any lewd or lascivious depiction of a child.
- Sexualization of minors — content that depicts, encourages or normalizes the sexualization of children, including "child-like" sexual content, sexualized captions, or sexualized poses.
- Grooming and solicitation — attempting to establish a sexual or romantic relationship with a minor, sextortion, requesting sexual images from a minor, or arranging to meet a minor for sexual purposes.
- Trafficking and exploitation — advertising, facilitating or profiting from the commercial sexual exploitation of a minor.
- Links and promotions — sharing URLs, QR codes, invites or instructions that direct users to CSAM or to communities that trade in it.
- CSAM-related keywords or codes — using code words, emoji combinations, or covert signals intended to solicit or distribute CSAM.
- Interference — attempting to circumvent detection, reporting or moderation systems.
Any account found to be involved in the above may be suspended or terminated immediately, without notice, and reported to the relevant authorities.
3. Age requirements
PINGR is intended for users aged [13] and older. Users under the applicable age of digital consent in their country are not permitted to create an account. PINGR takes reasonable steps to verify age at registration and may remove accounts reasonably believed to belong to underage users.
4. How to report
If you encounter content or behaviour that appears to violate these standards, report it immediately. Reports may be made anonymously.
- In-app: tap the Report menu on any chat.
- By email: write to jayshety2@gmail.com with as much detail as possible (usernames, links, screenshots, timestamps).
- Emergency: if a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Please do not download, forward or re-share suspected CSAM. Doing so may be a criminal offence in your jurisdiction. Simply report the location and let the PINGR team handle it.
PINGR acknowledges reports of child safety violations within 24 hours and aims to complete review within 72 hours, prioritising any matter that suggests a child is at imminent risk.
5. Moderation & enforcement
Detection
- Human review by trained trust & safety staff for escalated and reported content.
- User reporting, as described above.
Actions taken
- Immediate removal of violating content.
- Permanent termination of the accounts involved and blocking of associated devices, phone numbers and email addresses where feasible.
- Preservation of evidence and referral to law enforcement and relevant child protection organisations.
- Reporting of the incident in line with applicable legal obligations.
Appeals
Users who believe an enforcement action was taken in error may contact jayshety2@gmail.com. Appeals are reviewed by a human reviewer; however, decisions involving confirmed CSAM are final and non-appealable.
6. Legal compliance & reporting to authorities
PINGR complies with all applicable child safety laws, including but not limited to the requirements of the jurisdictions in which PINGR operates.
- PINGR reports apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant regional bodies (e.g. the Internet Watch Foundation in the UK, INHOPE hotlines in the EU) and to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
- PINGR cooperates fully with law enforcement investigations, including preserving account and content data as required by law.
- PINGR maintains a designated point of contact for child safety matters.
